Restore metal decking to match existing decking Removal of existing ballasted roof - Contractor must remove the existing ballast rock and dispose of it at an approved location. ii. Contractor must remove and properly dispose of all built-up roofing materials down to the decking. iii. Contractor must remove existing roofing system down to metal decking at a minimum 13,200 square feet equivalent to (132 square) ofroofing. All measurements on roof size and additional components, i.e.: gutters, downspouts, etcetera are estimates only to be used for the bidding purpose. Vendor will be responsible for verifying all measurements prior to bidding and actual needs will be provided, whether it is greater or less than stated.
