Project description: The project consists of the rehabilitation at one of the Township's existing sanitary pump station including removal of the existing air ejector system and tanks, piping and electrical components. Rehabilitation includes installation of new 6-foot diameter precast concrete wet well structure inside the existing steel structure, addition of a package pump station building with submersible pumps, above grade valving, and electrical components, underground connection to the existing force main and ancillary mechanical, electrical and site improvements. The existing natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch will be temporarily removed during construction and reinstalled. Sanitary sewage bypass pumping will be required to keep the existing incoming gravity sewer(s) in service during construction. Site dewatering may be required during excavation based on existing groundwater conditions.
