The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a UV disinfection unit within a below grade pre-cast concrete vault. Work includes connection to existing facility electrical system, bypass pumping and site restoration. The Project shall be substantially completed on or before July 31, 2026. The Project shall be completeckm or before August 15, 2026. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the wor Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall beN rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the requirements of the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation's Water Quality Improvement Program (WQIP) Grant. The Grant establishes a 30% goal for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation. The Grant establishes a 6% goal for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) participation. Bidders are required to submit with their bids, completed draft Utilization Plans. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to non discrimination in employment.
