No definite date for the rebid.** Evaluate and replace recreation field irrigation system valves and irrigation heads at the Chickasha Sports Complex, Chickasha, Oklahoma 73018. 1.1. Proposal is to perform Irrigation System Repairs as described below at the Chickasha Sports Complex in Chickasha, Oklahoma. 1.2. Successful bidder (Contractor) will be acting as an authorized agent of the City of Chickasha for Construction of the Irrigation System Repairs and shall be authorized to access the property to complete the work. The Contractor(s) will be issued a purchase order in the awarded amount of quotation. This will serve as a notice to proceed. 1.3. Scope of Work - Irrigation System Repairs as described below at the Chickasha Sports Complex in Chickasha, Oklahoma. 1.4. Quoted prices shall remain valid for not less than 60-days. 1.5. The prices bid shall be for completed work as specified herein. 1.6. The City of Chickasha reserves the right to reject any and all bids. 1.7. The Owner reserves the right to consider alternate proposals submitted in writing from responsive bidders. 1.8. Contractor shall be responsible for Quality Control of all products and the work. 1.9. The work shall proceed continuously from Notice to Proceed until Final Completion. 1.10. Contractor shall perform all work consistent OSHA regulations and requirements. 1.11. The contractor shall comply with the codes and ordinances of the City of Chickasha and all applicable laws, codes and regulations of the State of Oklahoma. 1.12. Contractor shall participate in a pre-work conference with the Owner before beginning work. 1.13. All work shall comply with the applicable Rules, Codes and Standards listed in these Specifications, and all Federal, State and Local codes and ordinances, as well as any other authorities that may have lawful jurisdiction pertaining to the work specified. None of the terms or provisions of this specification shall be construed as waiving any of the rules, regulations or requirements of these authorities. The contractor shall procure all necessary permits or licenses to carry out his work. 1.14. Purchases of materials for this project shall be exempt from Sales taxes and use taxes as provided for by State law. 1.15. General working hours for this project will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Work during other hours shall only be done by mutual agreement with City staff. 1.16. The Contractor, by signing the bid proposal form herein, hereby represents that it shall hold the City of Chickasha, Chickasha, Oklahoma, its employees or agents, harmless from any liability resulting from property damages and/or personal injuries that occur during, or as a result of, the work. 1.17. Contractor must keep the Parks and Recreation Director or designee advised at all times of status of the project. Default in performance or failure to meet specifications authorizes the City to withhold payment and cancel the work. 1.18. All materials shall be new and shall be of standard production as offered by the manufacturer, unless otherwise approved by the Owner. 1.19. All costs in connection with the work, including furnishing of materials, supplies and appurtenances, providing all equipment and tools, and performing all necessary labor to fully complete the work, shall be included in the unit price named in the proposal. 1.20. Invoices for completed work may be submitted no more often than once per month. 1.21. Any damage caused by the Contractor to any structures, roadway surfaces, driveways, signs and slopes shall be repaired at the Contractor's expense to the satisfaction of the Owner's Representative.
