2025 TOWN OF ADDIS ROAD REHAB PROJECT STATEMENT OF WORK: This project consists of road repair work throughout the Town of Addis as shown in the construction plans and as required by the Town on various roadways throughout the Town Limits. Construction work generally includes asphaltic concrete overlay, cold planing, pavement patching, temporary traffic control, pavement markings, and other necessary items as shown on the plans & specifications. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: A performance and payment bond for the work will be required upon execution of the contract, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of said contract written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana and who is currently on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service List. The bond shall be countersigned by a person who is under contract and who is licensed as an insurance agent in the State of Louisiana, and who is residing in this state. ATTESTATION AFFIDAVIT: The bidding documents shall not require any bidder, other than the apparent low bidder, to furnish any other information or documentation, including the Attestation Affidavit, any sooner than ten days after the date bids are opened; however, the apparent low bidder may submit such information or documentation at any time prior to the expiration of the tenday period. All bidders are required to have an active license for Highway, Street, And Bridge Construction from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors prior to bidding this project. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Base Bid plus any Alternates must accompany each Bid, and shall be made payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Determination of the low bidder shall be on the basis of the sum of the base bid and any alternates accepted. The owner is under no obligation to accept an alternate.
