**As of October 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Bontke Brothers Construction Co., Inc., with an awarded amount of $257,412.20.** This construction contract involves the reconstruction of an existing drainage structure under Texas Ave. approximately 300' West of US HWY 277. This contract will involve removal and replacement of the existing pavement above the pipes as well as the existing reinforced concrete pipes that have shifted and failed. The Contractor will need to coordinate with the Water Utilities Department for the replacement of an existing sewer main on the South end of the pipes. The replacement drainage structure will be a cast in place concrete box culvert topped with cement stabilized base and a concrete driving surface with HMAC tie-ins. The contract shall also include placement of thermoplastic pavement markings on the project and an add alternate has been included for a temporary signal system (3 temporary units) for the detour necessitated by the closure of Texas Ave. for the repair.
