The CITY OF ROCK ISLAND solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Engineering Design. This agreement will be for the duration of the project from design through project closeout. Consultants will be considered for the following project, "Saunders Road Shared Use Path". The CITY OF ROCK ISLAND reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Project Description The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary and final engineering design for the Saunders Road Shared Use Path project. The proposed improvements include a shared use bicycle and pedestrian path adjacent to Saunders Ave. from approximately 500 feet east of Delaware Avenue to Hammond Lane. The major features of the project are as follows: * approximately 2200 lineal feet of shared use pathway * coordinating with City staff to complete local, state, and federal regulatory compliance/permits The CITY OF ROCK ISLAND reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s).
