Cascades Golf Course, with Jackson County Parks Department (JCP), is offering a Request For Proposal (RFP) for modification and installation within the Cascades Golf Course. Cascades Golf Course first opened in 1929 and is seeking services to update portions of the existing irrigation system. Questions should be submitted via email to one/both of the following: Jack McCloughan Parks Superintendent jmccloughan@mijackson.org 517-768-2904 Chuck Koboldt Cascades GC Superintendent ckoboldt@mijackson.org 517-768-2903 Cascades Golf Course is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors with proven expertise in the scope of work provided. o Removal and disposal of approximately 245 existing Toro hydraulic controlled heads and swing arm joints back to existing supply lines. o Existing system is a single row design. o Existing hydraulic tubing will be abandoned. o Installation of 245- 24-volt electronic controlled irrigation heads, including all necessary swing arm joints, fittings, connectors to connect to existing supply lines. o Installation of heads will include necessary adjustments to head height and restoration work to alleviate past settling in the area. o Cascades Golf Course will supply Toro Golf Flex 800 heads for installation. o Purchase and installation of necessary wiring and fittings for electronic controls to each head. o Purchase and installation of 21 quick connect couplers, mostly in the green complex areas. o Necessary wiring to 13 control boxes via trenching or vibratory plow. o All necessary excavation and turf work is to be done with great care and re-installation to golf course expectations. o If work is performed while Course operations are possible, one 9-hole section will be completed prior to work beginning on the second nine, to allow for 9-hole operation o All materials used will require pre-approved submittals prior to installation. o All labor, materials, staging, shipping, necessary permitting, and other ancillary costs are to be included in bid price. o Note: Contractor is responsible for verification of measurements and quantities prior to bid submission. All bids must be submitted and completed in full on the supplied bid forms along with company information and history forms attached to this RFQ. Incomplete forms or bids submitted in an alternate form may result in proposal being disqualified. JCP evaluation process will be done with the intention of awarding the contract to the highest qualified contractor that offers the greatest value to the County of Jackson.
