New bid for Northwoods Academy New Gymnasium. The facility is Northwoods Academy, located. The project scope includes site work and construction of a gymnasium as detailed in the plans attached. It is also the intent of the Bibb County School District to have high-performance buildings with sustainable design. The program development services for this project shall begin immediately upon acceptance of this proposal and must be completed soon enough for construction to begin by December, 2025. Construction must be completed no later than July 22, 2026. Bibb County School District seeks General Contractor services to provide a turn-key project based on the plans and specifications provided. The General Contractor will provide comprehensive administration and management of all aspects of project construction and provide successful completion of the project on schedule, at or less than budgeted costs, meeting or exceeding standards stipulated by the construction documents, and in adherence with all standards and ordinances required by local authorities and other agencies having jurisdiction. The General Contractor, either through in-house staff or outside consultants/contractors, will serve as the General Contractor and provide all construction services and activities necessary for the construction of the project. The services described in this Request are representative of the services required, but do not constitute a comprehensive specification. A comprehensive specification of the Scope of Services required is contained in the proposed Contractor Agreement that will be issued to all short-listed respondents.
