Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of October 22nd, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded November 11th, 2025.** Mill Creek Elementary Building Automation System Upgrade Award of this bid is planned for November 10, 2025. Bid procedures and format - Ms. Lisa Ozanich, Assistant Purchasing Agent Email: lozanich@cpsk12.org All questions or requests shall be submitted in writing/email prior to the bid closing. Replies may be issued by addendum Scope of Work Contractor shall provide engineering, installation, programming, startup, graphics, and warranty for the following system components. All controllers must be Automated Logic and installed by certified labor. Substitutions will not be accepted. Reuse of existing wiring and devices is required where operational. Head End and Network: 1. Install one (1) Automated Logic G5CE controller in existing control panel. 2. Replace (4) existing AARs and install (1) additional AAR for network segmentation. 3. Replace 24V transformer; reuse existing 120V power. 4. Reuse existing ARCnet wiring. Chilled Water System: 1. Replace legacy controller in existing panel. 2. Replace 24V transformer; reuse 120V power. 3. Install new AMR; wire to existing points and reuse valves/sensors. 4. Provide new temperature sensors and updated programming and graphics. Hot Water System: 1. Replace legacy controller with the new model. 2. Replace transformer in existing panel. 3. Install new AMR; reuse existing control points, valves, safeties. 4. Provide and wire new temperature sensors. 5. Provide updated programming and graphics. AHU 1,2,3,4,5,7,8 / RTU-1 / MAU-1: 1. Replace existing DDC controller with the newest model. 2. Replace 24V transformer in all units excluding RTU 1. 3. Reuse wiring to control valves, actuators, safeties, DP and sensors. 4. Provide and wire new temperature sensors, utilize existing wire. 5. Install new temperature, CO2/humidity, zone sensors. 6. Provide and wire new duct and or building pressure sensors. 7. Provide updated programming and graphics. VAVs (31 Total): 1. Replace VAV controllers with the newest model that are equipped with integral actuators. 2. Replace 24V transformers; reuse wiring. 3. Install and wire new supply air sensors. 4. Provide and wire new space sensors with temperature, and CO2/humidity sensing in existing locations. 5. Provide updated programming and graphics. FTUs (33 Total): 1. Replace FTU controllers with the newest model that are equipped with integral actuators. 2. Provide and wire new space sensors with temperature, and CO2/humidity sensing in existing locations. 3. Replace 24V transformers; reuse all wiring. 4. Install new supply air sensors, reuse existing wire. 5. Provide updated programming and graphics. Kitchen Split System: 1. Replace existing controller with the newest model. 2. Replace existing transformer in panel, reuse existing wire. 3. Reuse wiring for fan, compressor, and heat start/stop. 4. Wire to existing DX and fan status. 5. Control existing damper actuators, utilize existing wire. 6. Install new space and air temperature sensors. 7. Provide updated programming and graphics. Domestic Hot Water System: 1. Replace old controller with the newest model and disconnect the abandoned controls. 2. Replace 24V transformer and reuse the existing wire. 3. Reuse existing pump and heater start/stop relays and CT. 4. Provide and Install new water temperature sensors and provide updated programming. Exhaust Fans (5 Total - EF-4, 7, 20, 21, 22): 1. Replace existing controllers with new. 2. Replace 24V transformers and reuse existing wire. 3. Wire and reuse existing fan relays and CTs. 4. Provide updated programming. Exterior Lighting: 1. Provide and Install new controller in electrical closet. 2. Provide ARCnet communications and 24V power to the controller. 3. Install lighting relay to replace existing timer and wire. 4. Program per updated lighting sequence.
