The Project includes the following Work: Water main rehabilitation of Foster Street in Acton, MA, using a Structural Cured-in-Place (CIPP) liner. Main to be rehabilitated includes an 8-inch asbestos cement pipe for a total of approximately 750-linear feet. Also included is the installation of 8 ductile iron pipe, ductile iron fittings, ductile iron gate valves, a hydrant, associated appurtenances, and removal The work of this project shall be substantially complete within 40 calendar days and ready for final payment within 60 calendar days from the date of award. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. The successful General Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner
