Site work and new construction of a residential development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

This project is a new construction single family home. TCHFH is looking for qualified companies to bid on: Retaining Wall Sewer & Water Electrical Sitework Roofing Solar Power Concrete - Structural Rain Gutters Insulation - Spray Foam Concrete - Flatwork HVAC Drywall Finishing Fdn. Waterproofing Plumbing Carpet Project Start: Sitework is scheduled to begin in November 2025. See the project specification for start dates for each type of work. Requirements: All subcontractors doing work for TCHFH must have general liability insurance. All subcontractors with employees must also have workers' compensation insurance. This project will be partially funded with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds and must comply with all HUD requirements. The Subcontractors on this project must comply with federal contract provisions, including, but not limited to: Suspension and Debarment; Equal Employment Opportunity; Minority Business Enterprise; Women Business Enterprise; Section 3 Economic Opportunities Requirements; and Drug Free Workplace as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is an equal opportunity employer, and as such, businesses owned by women or minorities are strongly encouraged to bid. This project is partially funded by the City of Minneapolis. Any subcontractor that has been awarded with $100,000 or more worth of contracts funded by City of Minneapolis over the previous twelve months will be required to register an affirmative action plan. Section 3 applies to this project. If your company would need to hire additional employees for this specific job, you would need to take affirmative steps to hire and train lower income residents of the project area and maintain records and documentation on your efforts. After the opening, bids will be qualified in the standard process prior to contracts being awarded.
