In general, the work consists of: replacing one (1) existing 6300 cfm air handling unit, air cooled condensing unit, hot water coil pump, associated ductwork, piping, controls, and control wiring. Adding three (3) split system ductless air conditioning units is also included. This project starts phasing out some pneumatic controls replacing them with a direct digital control system for selected equipment only. Anticipated trades needed for this project include pipe fitters, sheet metal workers, insulation installers, control technicians, electricians, roofing installers, drywall installers, carpenters, and painters. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin state budget (2017 Wisconsin act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws effective september 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after september 23, 2017.
