Renovation of a transportation facility in Berlin, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Mayor & City Council, Town of Ocean City, Maryland is seeking Quotes from qualified and experienced Vendors to provide for the Municipal Airport Bathroom Renovations and for said work to conform with the Proposal Documents. Minority Vendors are encouraged to compete for the Award of the Solicitation. Fabrication, shipping, delivery, and installation must be completed no later than THURSDAY, JANUARY 1ST , 2026. Any question(s) must be submitted formally in writing to Matt Perry, Procurement Manager at mperry@oceancitymd.gov and must be received by TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH, 2025 AT 4:00 PM for consideration. SPECIFICATIONS: 1.1.The Town of Ocean City Procurement Department will conduct a formal Request for Quote process with a three-Quote minimum, review the submissions, and formally Award Vendor. 1.2.The Town of Ocean City Municipal Airport possesses two restroom facilities and intends to renovate aforementioned facilities with the specifications herein. Reference photos shall be provided to Vendor for review. The Town is seeking Vendors to provide a proposal for renovations of the Town of Ocean City Municipal Airport restroom facilities. The Town of Ocean City intends to retain one restroom facility as open and available during the construction phase. 1.3.The scope of work shall include in general, all materials, supplies, equipment, repairs, labor, and finishing work as described on the plans and/or specifications. 1.4.MEN'S RESTROOM FACILITY: 1.4.1. Vendor shall demolish existing restroom facility partitions and install new partitions. Vendor shall utilize high-density polyethylene panels (HDPE) partitions and urinal screens panel material, not less than one (1) inch (25mm) thick, seamless, with eased edges, and with homogenous color and pattern throughout thickness of material with stainless steel stirrup brackets, stainless steel door hardware, continuous piano hinges, continuous stainless steel brackets, stainless steel pilaster shoes, and full-height continuous brackets. 1.4.2. Vendor shall remove existing exhaust fan system and install new exhaust fan system. 1.4.3. Vendor shall visually inspect the interior of the wall behind urinals and complete repair work as required and/or deemed necessary. 1.4.4. Vendor shall remove existing 2x2 floor tiling and install new 2x2 floor tiling system in kind with kickplates. 1.4.5. Vendor shall repaint existing walls and ceilings. 1.4.6. Vendor shall remove existing paper towel dispenser and install new air drying equipment, incorporating Excel Dryers XLERATOR model #XL-BW-ECO. 1.4.7. Vendor shall remove existing soap dispenser and install new soap dispenser equipment provided by the Town of Ocean City. 1.4.8. Vendor shall remove existing baseboard heating element/unit in the handicap stall partition and install new baseboard heating element/unit in the handicap stall partition. 1.4.9. Vendor shall remove existing sink mirrors and install new sink mirrors. 1.4.10. Vendor shall remove existing sink and install new trough style sink. 1.5.WOMEN'S RESTROOM FACILITY: 1.5.1. Vendor shall remove existing partition stall adjacent to sink and Town of Ocean City Municipal Airport shall retain removed material(s). Vendor shall demolish existing restroom facility partitions and install new partitions. Vendor shall utilize high-density polyethylene panels (HDPE) partitions and urinal screens panel material, not less than one (1) inch (25mm) thick, seamless, with eased edges, and with homogenous color and pattern throughout thickness of material with stainless steel stirrup brackets, stainless steel door hardware, continuous piano hinges, continuous stainless steel brackets, stainless steel pilaster shoes, and full-height continuous brackets. 1.5.2. Vendor shall remove existing exhaust fan system and install new exhaust fan system. 1.5.3. Vendor shall remove existing handicap rails in handicap stall partition and install new ADA-compliant handicap rails in handicap stall partition. Vendor shall install a baby and/or infant changing table and/or station. 1.5.4. Vendor shall provide and install new toilet paper dispenser equipment in handicap stall partition. 1.5.5. Vendor shall remove existing 2x2 floor tiling and install new 2x2 floor tiling system in kind with kickplates. 1.5.6. Vendor shall repaint existing walls and ceilings. 1.5.7. Vendor shall remove existing paper towel dispenser and install new air drying equipment, incorporating Excel Dryers XLERATOR model #XL-BW-ECO. 1.5.8. Vendor shall remove existing soap dispenser and install new soap dispenser equipment provided by the Town of Ocean City. 1.5.9. Vendor shall remove existing baseboard heating element/unit in the handicap stall partition and install new baseboard heating element/unit in the handicap stall partition. 1.5.10. Vendor shall remove existing sink and install new ceramic sink, incorporating MSI model #UNDOVBISQ-1714. 1.6.Illustrations and/or pictures provided to Vendor are for visual concept reference and final rendition may differ on real-world specification(s), limitation(s), part(s), and cost consideration(s).
