9th Avenue Downtown Underpass Stormwater Lift Station Improvements Project. It consists of four (4) lift stations which are up for lifecycle improvements. The purpose of this project is to address safety and operational concerns to meet current and future servicing requirements. At the same time, to ensure compliance with the latest edition of applicable Federal, Provincial, and Local regulatory and technical requirements as well as the industrial best practices. These four (4) lifts stations under this RFP: a. L09A - 236 10 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta b. L08A - 915 1 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta c. L10A - 920 4 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta d. L12A - 910 8 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta TIMELINE: RFP for engineering services has been awarded. The first phase will consist of Downtown Underpass Drainage Study with Feasibility Analysis of Alternative Drainage System Upgrade, Lift Station Engineering Assessment, and Lift Station Upgrade Options Evaluation and Conceptual Design. Scope of work and schedules for detailed design, tender and construction may be confirmed mid/fall 2026. *Phase 1 Consulting Fees for all four (4) lift stations, excluding GST: $1,000,000 Total potential expenditure of all Phases is up to $65,000,000.00 for Consulting, Land, and Construction Fees.
