Installation of approximately 1500 linear feet of new 12-inch waterline along FM 2770 in order to connect to the proposed Colony at Cole Springs subdivision. This line will connect to the developer-built waterline to be included with the new bridge across Onion Creek. Having a secondary line crossing the creek increases system resilience and improves water flow throughout the water system. This project includes two bore crossing of FM 2770 and the Project 1B drainage channel and the installation of a pressure reducing valve. Using existing public utility easements should limit the need for right-of-way acquisition. A portion of this project was constructed by Buda Fire as part of the Central Fire Station project. An additional delivery point and bore under FM 2770 has been added to this Project to serve the Nighthawk expansion. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
