Character and amount of security to be furnished by each bidder are stated in the bid documents. The principal features of the Contract include: 1. Furnishing and installing approximately 2,770 LF of 12-inch C900 sewer force main by open cut and 1,605 LF of 12-inch HDPE sewer force main by directional bore in the east R/W of Old Berkley Road between C Fred Jones Blvd and Berkley Knights Drive. The Public Construction bond and specified insurance are required to be secured from or countersigned by an agency of the surety or insurance company, which agency shall have an established place of business in Florida and be duly licensed to conduct business therein. Bids shall be enclosed within a sealed envelope with the words "BID FOR NORTHERN FORCE MAIN EXTENSION PHASE 1" and the Bidder's name clearly marked on the outside thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause; and/or to accept the bid that in his judgment will be in his best interest. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
