The Delta R-V School District is seeking proposals and quotes for tuck pointing repairs to brick masonry at Delta High School in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. Scope of work includes inspection, repair, and tuck pointing of identified problem areas in the school's brick masonry. Contractors must be properly licensed, bonded, and insured. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete tuck pointing repairs and exterior cleaning of the Delta High School building. 1. 1. Masonry Repairs Inspect all exterior masonry walls of the high school. Remove deteriorated mortar and repoint joints where cracking, crumbling, or voids are present. Match new mortar to existing in color, texture, and joint style. Replace any damaged brick units as needed (with District approval). 2. 2. Cleaning and Sealing Power wash the entire exterior of the high school building to remove dirt, efflorescence, and debris. Apply a breathable masonry sealer to all repaired and cleaned surfaces to protect against moisture intrusion. 3. 3.
