The project was awarded to two bidders: RER Supply LLC and Nature's Choice. The awarded amounts are not specified, as they are based on cubic measurements. Removal and transportation of grass, leaves, and brush to a registered recycling and disposal facility for the years 2026-2028. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address, and addressed to the Borough Clerk. All proposals must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Borough of Paramus in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Any addenda(s) will be posted on the Borough of Paramus’ website; it is the sole responsibility of the bidder to be knowledgeable of all addenda(s) related to this procurement. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the proposals or bids are opened. The Mayor & Council reserve the right to waive any informalities or defect in any bid, to reject any and all bids, or to accept such bids that, in their discretion, are in the best interest of the Borough. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, New Jersey Statutes Title 19 Fair and Open Process, and other applicable laws.
