Reference Number 0000399425 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Auburn Hills is seeking responses from qualified roofing contractors to perform complete asphalt shingle replacement on two municipal park structures in 2025. This document outlines the nature and scope of work requested and provides project specifications for the City of Auburn Hills. 1. RoofDemolition and Inspection - Remove existing shingle roof and underlayments down to wood decking. Inspect decking for deficiencies and replace rotted sections per the square foot pricing identified on the bid form. 2. Ice and Water Shield Installation - Install new SBR modified, fiberglass reinforced, self-adhering ice and water shield (primer seal) as specified over the entire roof area. Install additional layers at ridges extending 3 feet on each side of ridge. 3.Drip Edge and Metal Flashing - Install new drip edge at all eave and rake conditions. Provide all necessary ancillary fabricated metal flashings manufactured from 24-gauge Kynar coated metal in standard color. 4. Fascia Board Protection - Install new metal flashing on wood fascia to match the profile of existing wood fascia boards (wrap fascia boards completely). 5. Chimney Flashing - Inspect existing chimney flashings and replace sections where necessary. Seal all chimney flashing with silicone sealant in color to match sheet metal. 6. Shingle Installation - Install new 30-year dimensional shingles as manufactured by GAF, CertainTeed, or Owens Corning per specifications. The City will select shingle color upon contract award. 7.
