The City of Syracuse is seeking contractors to provide supplemental sidewalk snow clearing to a pre-determined network for City Streets, for the City of Syracuse, as specified. The network of sidewalks to be cleared includes routes to schools, shopping areas, and other neighborhood amenities. This program shall utilize proper snow clearing equipment that is operated by trained personnel to remove snow or hard pack from the sidewalks, pathways, corners and crosswalks, located within the municipal Right-of-Way. Three inches (3") of snow accumulation is the standard trigger for clearing/deployment.
