Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,317-square-foot theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the renovation of a theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.

The project includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, site and foundation concrete, framing and finish for the approximately 1300 square feet building addition, including an add alternate bid item for the approximate 500 square feet Club Room Renovation in the upper south end of the Historic Elite Hall. Hyrum City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities or minor defects. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest responsible bidder, and conformance to specifications, bidders qualifications and the bid judged to be in the best interest of the owner, each factor being considered. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to City Councilmember Craig Rasmussen, all questions shall be in writing via email to craig.rasmussen@hyrumcity.gov. Questions shall be submitted prior to 2:00 pm Tuesday September 30, 2025. A final addendum, if required, will be issued Thursday October 2, 2025. A PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND shall meet or exceed a standard bond A or A- rating per A.M. BEST. Certificate for the insurance required by section 21, of the General Conditions, will also be furnished by the Contractor when signing the Agreement. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any BID if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such BIDDER fails to satisfy the OWNER that such BIDDER is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the WORK contemplated therein. Notice to Proceed to specify that work is to be completed in 270 calendar days.
