The Purpose of the Project is to Improve Deficiencies and Provide a Smoother Riding Surface, Therefore, Decrease the Cost of Ongoing Roadway Maintenance. This Project is for the Resurfacing of Approximately 5.05 Miles of Existing Roadway on Various Routes in Luzerne County, Various Municipalities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Resurfacing Includes Asphalt Wearing Courses, Scratch Courses, Milling, Line Painting, Shoulder Backup, Pavement Markings, and Design/build of Concrete Curb Ramps. All Work Will Be Completed Within the Existing Roadway. All Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (Mpt) Will Be Completed in Accordance With the Special Provisions of the Contract and Will Consist of Short-term Patterns.
