General Background: Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC), at it's operations center, has two buildings with space that need to be repurposed. In 2024 we conducted a programming study and have the general areas identified for new use. Our next steps include hiring an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to perform engineering services, estimates, bidding and construction support to see this project through completion. The programming drawings are provided in these bid documents, however the finished spaces will include; office spaces, computer training room, training room, warehouse/workshop and breakroom space. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Questions regarding this request for proposal (RFQ) should be received by or before 5:00 pm (EST) on October 2, 2025. All questions shall be directed to the attention of Cleve Haddock, Lifetime CLGPO, Procurement Manager at (252) 551-1533, haddocgc@guc.com. GUC reserves the right to reject all proposals or accept such proposals, as appears in its own best interest, and to waive technicalities or irregularities of any kind in the proposal. GUC is not obligated to accept the lowest cost proposal.
