The scope of work consists of the construction of gravity sewers and force mains, generally ranging from four (4) inch to thirty (30) inch diameter, including manholes, service lines, service connections, road crossings, site work, appurtenances, erosion/sediment control measures, and all labor and materials necessary to install the authorized work. The work may also include emergency type activities on a short notice basis. This contract includes three additional one (1) year renewal options. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted in a sealed, non-transparent envelope clearly marked with the project name, the Bidder’s Georgia Utility Contractors License Number, and the Bidder’s name, address, phone number, and contact person. Evidence of a valid Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification must accompany the proposal. Failure to provide the license number on the envelope will result in rejection of the bid. A satisfactory Bid Bond (5% of the Bid) or equivalent cash/check deposit must accompany each bid. A completed qualifications statement must be submitted with the bid package. Bids will be evaluated based on pricing (80%) and bidder qualifications (20%). The Owner may conduct discussions or negotiations after submission, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and will select the firm that provides the best value advantage.
