Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of 315 linear feet of 6-inch PE DR 11 for bore under Bell Cow Creek, two 6-inch gate valves, two anchors for bore, and two connections to existing water lines including all appurtenances. Small business and minority business sources are encouraged to bid on this project. Security companies executing bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list and be authorized to transact business in the state where the project is located. Contract documents may be examined at Brown Engineering, Lincoln County RWD #2 Office, and Southwest Construction News and Construct Connect. Copies of contract documents are available upon payment at the Brown Engineering office, with specified fees for each set. No refund is provided for returned documents. SMALL BUSINESS AND MINORITY BUSINESS Sources ARE ENCOURAGED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT. Water Line - L.F. Payment for this item shall be for actual linear foot installed. This item shall also include but not be limited to the following: Disinfection testing, Leakage testing, tees, elbows, 12 gage tracer wire. Installation shall be in accordance with plans and specifications. Payment will not be made in full until an acceptable sample from DEQ is received by the District. 2.2 Gate Valves with Boxes - Each Payment for this item shall be for actual valve installed. This item shall also include but not be limited to the following: thrust blocking. Valves and installation shall be in accordance with plans and specifications Bore and Casing Steel Casing - L.F. Payment for this item shall be for actual linear foot of casing required to cross proposed highway from right-of-way to right-of-way. This item shall also include but not be limited to the following: casing pipe and vents. Installation shall be in accordance with plans and specifications. 2.4 Connections to Existing Lines - Each Payment for this item shall be for existing lines connected to new lines. This item shall also include but not be limited to the following: Excavation, fittings and labor. Installation shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications. Only taping tools can be used for taping the pipe. The work contemplated under this contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and service necessary for, and reasonably incidental to the completion of all construction and mechanical work in connection with the project described in the specifications and the accompanying drawing(s).
