Location- Bryant Manor 75 Myrtle St Somerville, MA 02145 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. bryant manor is a 5-story "section 8 new construction" elderly housing apartment building located in somerville, ma. the building was originally constructed in 1977 and has 134 1-bedroom units and first floor common area amenities. the project consists of interior renovations and upgrades to unit interiors including new finishes, fixtures, lighting, plumbing and electrical load centers. new electric wall heaters will be added to bathrooms. closets will have new shelving and rods. doors will receive new hardware and be replaced as needed, and automatic openers will be installed at accessible units where required by code. accessible "type h" and "type h1" units are designed to meet ada and 521 cmr requirements. the building will be occupied during construction. units being worked on will be vacant. The work is estimated to cost $284,000.00. Completion-120 consecutive calendar days.
