Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 22,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Work performed under this proposal will include, but not be limited to, complete construction services for the approximately 22,500 square foot remodeling of the academic computer center located in Building 21 at the Pensacola State College Main Campus to create a training center to include training rooms, training labs, and auxiliary spaces (refer to draft floorplan, Exhibit C). The College reservesthe right to negotiate the expansion of the scope of work to include other related and/or minor projects at any time during the term of the contract. It isthe intention ofthe College to take advantage of the tax savings program available to them through Owner Direct Purchase of materials for this project. It is desirable that the CM selected is familiar with this process. Conditions of the Contract used with the Agreement: AIA A201, General Conditions of the Contract; Exhibit A (to this RFQ), Section 00 80 00, Supplementary General Conditions; Exhibit B (to this RFQ), Section 00 82 00, Special Conditions will be used with this Contract. Questions regarding responses to this Request for Qualifications should be in writing by email to the Director of Purchasing at purchasing@pensacolastate.edu by the date listed in the RFQ Schedule.
