Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of the renovation of the public portion of the existing inaccessible access to the four tree island bathroom facility to remove architectural barriers for accessibility. The current exterior walkway and step does not provide a flush entry into the facilities. The existing brick entry grading will be modified to match the sill height of the existing building. Question submission deadline: October 1, 2025, 4:00pm Question response deadline: October 6, 2025, 4:00pm Schedule: work is to be substantially completed by December 31, 2025. Pre-proposal meeting if a pre-proposal meeting is mandatory, failure to attend the meeting will result in disqualification of bidder. Bidder is required to provide a bid bond, surety, or similar guaranty in an amount of not less than 10% of the bid price. All sureties shall be made payable to the "City of Portsmouth". If a bid bond is used by the bidder it shall be: in a form satisfactory to the city; with a surety company licensed, authorized to do business in, and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the state of new Hampshire; and conditioned upon the faithful performance by the bidder. In the event any irregularities are contained in the bid bond, surety or guaranty, the bidder will have four business days (not counting the day of opening) to correct any irregularities. The corrected guaranty must be received by 4:00 p.m. If irregularities are not corrected to the satisfaction of the city, the city, in its sole discretion, may reject the bid. The city reserves the right to undertake any investigation it deems necessary to evaluate the qualifications of any vendor and any to verify any representations made by the vendor. A vendor may be requested to execute a release for information. Failure to provide a release upon request will result in disqualification. The city reserves the right to contract with the selected bidder for additional work. The city of Portsmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies of any bid, and to accept any bid that may be in the best interest of the city.
