Questions must be received three (3) days prior to the date of opening Bids no exceptions. Scope This project shall provide for the excavation and removal of excess material within existing roadside ditches by cleaning and disposing of silt offsite as called out in the plan set and as directed by the City of Beaumont to enhance drainage within the project limits. All ditches are to be reconstructed and reshaped in conformance with the lines, grades and typical cross-section shown on the plans. This project also provides for the resetting/repair of select driveway culverts and associated driveway aprons. Culverts to be replaced shall be set to the appropriate grade, backfilled, and driveway aprons reconstructed, all in accordance with the details and requirements on the plans and specifications. This project also provides for the removal and construction of surface inlets and other drainage structures as called out in the plans and specifications. This contract shall include all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, safety measures, environmental protection, disposal of surplus items, site restoration, and all other related construction, all in strict accordance with the construction plans and specifications. SUMMARY OF WORK: This work shall include: 1. Mobilization 2. Cleaning and restoring of existing roadside ditches consisting of excavation and shaping as shown in the plan set and following the cross-sectional detail for all ditches specified in the plan set. This includes all depths, maintaining shown flow direction, surface restoration, seeding, and all appurtenances, all in in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Remove and replace various pipes as called out in the plan set, including all excavation and backfill required. Remove and replace sections of driveways, roadways and sidewalk as necessary as called out in the plans. 4. Remove and install drainage structures as called out in the plan set, including all excavation and backfill required
