Specific Paint Application Elements: Drywall Primer: B51W00620 - PrepRite(R) ProBlock(R) Interior/Exterior Latex Primer/Sealer White - Location: drywall and plaster surfaces Notes: full primer all surfaces, review problem areas, patch and replace area wallboard or plaster. Topcoat: B66W01661 - PI HP AC EG EXTRA - Location: drywall and plaster surfaces Notes: two coat minimum application to achieve proper color, coverage and sheen. Wood - Interior Prime Coat: B51W01150 - EX BOND PRM WH - Location: previously stained/ clear coated stage area surfaces. Notes: full prime required. Topcoat: B66W01661 - PI HP AC EG EXTRA - Location: previously stained/ clear coated stage area surfaces. Notes: two coat minimum application to achieve proper color, coverage and sheen. Topcoat: B53W05151 - PI WB ALK UR SG EW - Location: interior doors, casings and woodwork. Notes: door finish semi-gloss two coat minimum to achieve proper coverage, color and sheen. BID PACKAGE # 02 - Flooring 1. General Requirements: o The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the flooring project as specified. 2. Surface Preparation: o Remove all existing flooring in the multi-purpose room. o Prepare the floor to accept the new Luxury Vinyl Plank. o Provide a MVER system, Ardex MC Rapid ( a 2-part epoxy system that requires a concrete profile 3 - typically obtained by shot or bead blasting. This is a mandatory requirement for Manufactures warrantee! District will provide blasting contractor 480v source for power. 3. Specific Flooring Application Elements: o Multi-Purpose Room: o Flooring: Install Karndean LooseLay Wood, LLP306 - Color TBD. o Cove Base: Install 4-inch black rubber base. 4. Clean-Up: o Remove all tools, equipment, and unused materials from the site after the completion of the work. o Dispose of all waste materials in accordance with local regulations. 5. Project Schedule / Timeline: o Scheduled Work Dates: To be determined collaboratively between the awarded contractor and the district. o Completion Requirement: The project must be fully completed, with the area reopened and ready for staff use by the agreed-upon completion date (TBD). BID PACKAGE # 03 - Acoustical Wall Panels 1. General Requirements: o The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Acoustical Wall Panel project as specified. o Install approximately 686 S/F of new wall panels. The contractor is to verify all quantities prior to the start of the project. 2. Product: o Fabric Manufacturer: Guilford of Main - FR701 Series, Color TBD. Fabricmate FS-150 1" Stretch Fabric System. 1" 4.5 PCF Recore infill in wall panels. 3. Specific Wall Panel Application Elements: o Install new fabric wall panels on the upper 1/3 rd of all four walls. 4. Project Schedule / Timeline: o Scheduled Work Dates: To be determined collaboratively between the awarded contractor and the district. o Completion Requirement: The project must be fully completed, with the area reopened and ready for staff use by the agreed-upon completion date (TBD). BID PACKAGE # 04 - Acoustical Ceilings 1. General Requirements: o The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the ceiling project as specified. o The contractor is to verify all quantities prior to the start of the project. 2. Preparation: o Insulation was observed above ceiling tiles. o Demo the existing 2' x 4' ceiling tile and remove from site. o T-Bar to be painted by others before new tile installation. 3. Specific Ceiling Application Elements: o Ceiling MPR: Install 3,152 sf of new 2' x 4' Tegular ceiling tile in existing T-Bar. Panels to be Armstrong Optima 15/16 Square Tegular Tile #3252. (District Standard) o Reinstall insulation above the ceiling tile. o Reinstall existing speakers and spotlights in the new tile. o Repair a small area of ceiling grid on the north side. (200 sf of Existing Ceiling Grid with same material to match o Upgrade existing T-Bar to the current codes. . (compression Struts and EQ wires) o Ceiling Teachers Lounge: Remove existing tile and replace with new tile to match MPR. o Add 2' cross tees and reinstall insulation above the ceiling tile. o Upgrade existing T-Bar to the current codes. (compression Struts and EQ wires) 4. Clean-Up: o Remove all tools, equipment, and unused materials from the site after the completion of the work. o Protect existing Walls, Chairs, Drapes and table with plastic. Protect existing floor with Masonite o Dispose of all waste materials in accordance with local regulations. 5. Project Schedule / Timeline: o Scheduled Work Dates: To be determined collaboratively between the awarded contractor and the district. o Completion Requirement: The project must be fully completed, with the area reopened and ready for staff use by the agreed-upon completion date (TBD). BID PACKAGE # 05 - Electrical 1. General Requirements: o The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Electrical project as specified. o The contractor is to verify all quantities prior to the start of the project. 2. Specific Electrical Elements: o Remove all ceiling lights for the ceiling grid to be painted. o Replace (24) 2x4 lights with LED fixtures in the Multi-Purpose Room in the same layout as the current configuration, with Lithonia Lighting VT Series Volumetric LED Troffer. (District Standard) o Install new switches to dim LED lights. o Remove all Outlets/Switches/ Plates for paint. Replace with NEW white materials 3. Clean-Up: o Remove all tools, equipment, and unused materials from the site after the completion of the work. o Dispose of all waste materials daily in accordance with local regulations. 4. Project Schedule / Timeline: o Scheduled Work Dates: To be determined collaboratively between the awarded contractor and the district. o Completion Requirement: The project must be fully completed, with the area reopened and ready for staff use by the agreed-upon completion date (TBD). BID PACKAGE # 06 - Drywall 1. General Requirements: o The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Drywall project as specified. o The contractor is to verify all quantities prior to the start of the project. 2. Specific Drywall Elements: o Provide and install 218lf of 4'x8'x3/4" "purple" drywall to the perimeter of the interior space of the MPR. o Tape / Mud and finish ready for paint by others - smooth finish. o Use "C" or "L" metal top and bottom for a clean transition to the cove base and wall above. 3. Clean-Up: o Remove all tools, equipment, and unused materials from the site after the completion of the work. All drywall mud dropped on the floor is to be cleaned up daily. Use a drywall vacuum on all sanding phases to minimize dust. Use zip walls to delineate the kitchen from MPR and remove as necessary. o Dispose of all waste materials daily in accordance with local regulations. 4. Project Schedule / Timeline: o Scheduled Work Dates: To be determined collaboratively between the awarded contractor and the district. o Completion Requirement: The project must be fully completed, with the area reopened and ready for staff use by the agreed-upon completion date (TBD).
