Renovation of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
Scope of work includes: 1. Replacement of theatre seating (Theatre seating contractor may be procured prior to rest of the project depending on expected lead times). .2 Update architectural finishes on walls and floors. Include acoustical considerations into the design of the new finishes (Changes to the room layout are not anticipated). .3 Upgrades to stage lighting, theatrical light controls system and theatre general lighting. TIMELINE: The owner is seeking proposals for architectural prime consultant and electrical engineering services. Construction is planned for mid-2026. Further update pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
