Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Hayesville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 958-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and 1,714-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of the construction of a splashpad, a support building, and associated site work. The scope includes a 1,714 square foot splashpad with vertical features, a 958 square foot restroom/mechanical building, new sidewalks, renovation of the existing parking lot, and new site amenities. The splashpad is a concrete slab with broom-finished concrete as base bid and an add alternate for Life Floor cushioned flooring, thirteen spray features of varying design, filtration and disinfection systems with prefabricated collector tank, three 20' shade umbrellas, and a 4' perimeter fence. The support building features a concrete slab on grade, painted, single-wythe CMU walls, and pre-engineered wood trusses with a shingle roof. Interior spaces include men's and women's restrooms, a family restroom, a splashpad mechanical room, two chemical rooms, and a janitor's closet. Site work includes grading for the splashpad and building, renovating existing parking areas with new asphalt and accessible parking, stormwater management, erosion control, utilities, and sidewalks. Alternates, both additive and deductive, are identified on the drawings and Bid Form.
