ELECTRONIC BIDS are invited for On-Call HVAC Maintenance Services under Public Bid No. P-2416. Bids must be submitted on the Euna-Bonfire website under Bergen Community College and the appropriate opportunity after registering on https://bergenbids.com and establishing an account. A complete set of Bid Documents may be obtained by registering on the College's website at http://www.bergen.edu/community/purchasing/current-vendor-opportunities or directly through https://bergenbids. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly recommended. Bid security, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not exceeding $20,000, must accompany each bid. Bid Bonds must be provided by a surety authorized in New Jersey and listed in U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570. Bid Bonds signed by an Attorney-in-Fact need a certified Power-of-Attorney. Checks submitted as bid security must be received in the Purchasing Office prior to bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq., and must submit a copy of their Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 for themselves and all subcontractors, either at the time of bid or before contract award. Compliance with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.) is required, with submission of the current Contractor Registration Certificate either with the bid or before contract award. Bids must be made using the forms provided in the Bid Documents and submitted through the Euna-Bonfire website under Bergen Community College and the appropriate opportunity by the designated time. No bids will be accepted after the stated deadline, and no bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of opening. The Board of Trustees of Bergen Community College reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and assumes no responsibility for any delays causing late receipt of bids.
