PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Contractor shall install four Owner supplied 60-foot pole light standards, and supply and install concrete caisson foundations, conduit and wiring for the lower Orcutt Community Park playfield, and pedestrian bridge and bollard lighting. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE : The CONTRACTOR shall possess a Class A license at the time this Contract is awarded. The Official Time will be determined by the Community Services Bid Clock, located at the address indicated above. SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES : Pursuant to Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code and the project specifications, the CONTRACTOR may substitute securities or request that the County make payment of retentions to an escrow agent for any money held by the COUNTY to ensure contract performance. PREVAILING WAGES : Bidders are hereby notified that that all work performed under this agreement is subject to prevailing wage rates pursuant to the California Labor Code. Pursuant to Section 1770, et. Seq. Of the California Labor Code, the contractor and all subcontractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as predetermined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages pursuant to the California Labor Code are on file at the County Department of Community Services Parks Division and are available to any interested party on request. In addition : o No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unlesss rreegitedwith the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
