The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District invites sealed bids for the furnishing and installation of three rooftop HVAC units at LaLiberte Elementary School, 777 Pleasant Street, Raynham, MA. Work includes removal and replacement of units, electrical systems, gas systems, controls, crane services, and related finish work. All applicable Massachusetts public construction laws, prevailing wage, DCAMM certification, bid bond, performance/payment bond, and OSHA requirements apply. Question Deadline 10/24/2025 All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to: Mark Chiocca Director of Facilities Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District mchiocca@bridge-rayn.org The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District ("District") is soliciting sealed bids in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 for the furnishing and installation of three (3) rooftop HVAC units at LaLiberte Elementary School, located at 777 Pleasant Street, Raynham, MA. All work shall be completed in full compliance with Massachusetts public construction laws, including prevailing wage requirements, DCAMM certification, bid bonds, performance/payment bonds, and OSHA training requirements. The selected contractor shall furnish and install all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to replace three rooftop HVAC units, including demolition, disposal, crane work, electrical, controls, and finish work. A. Unit 1 - Replacement of Existing 12.5 Ton Trane RTU (#1) Shut off power to existing RTU and install lockout/tagout (LOTO) protection. Remove existing 12.5-ton Trane unit, haul away, and dispose of properly. Furnish and install new 12.5-ton RTU with curb adapter, set via crane. Provide and install new condensate piping for unit. Rewire/reconnect electrical to unit, integrate with existing thermostat, control, and Building Management System (BMS). Provide new gas piping and connection as required. Furnish and install any required new controller(s) or sensor(s). Perform unit startup and commissioning. Patch roof penetrations as necessary B. Unit 2 - Replacement of Existing 3 Ton Trane RTU (#5) Follow same scope as above for replacement of 3-ton Trane RTU. C. Unit 3 - Replacement of Existing 6 Ton YORK RTU (#7) Follow same scope as above for replacement of 6-ton YORK RTU. . Additional Requirements All crane work must be coordinated with the District. It is understood that some crane work may be required to occur on weekends for the safety of students and staff. All necessary permits are the responsibility of the contractor. Work must be scheduled in a manner that does not interfere with normal school operations.
