Scope of Work - Under these Specifications the Contractor shall perform all work associated with construction of San Jacinto Valley RWRF Plant 2 Aeration Basins Rehabilitation and Diffusers Replacement Project. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Coordinate with District's treatment plant operations and electrical services to schedule and sequence the Plant 2 Aeration zones shutdowns and construction work. District will drain and clean aeration zones. 2. Furnish and install, operate and maintain, temporary pumping and piping system to dewater any nuisance flow into the work area. 3. Perform structural repairs of all Plant 2 aeration basins per detailed condition assessment of representative aeration zones of Plant 2's Zones 3. 4. Demolish and remove existing aeration panels and fasteners, stainless steel aeration pipeline, and appurtenances. 5. Furnish, install, operate and maintain a temporary RAS line during shutdowns of Zones Z2 & Z1 construction work. 6. Perform gasket replacement for 102"x60" sluice gates between Zones 1 and 2, and Zones 3 and 4, if needed. 7. Perform gasket replacement for 20"x20" RAS sluice gates Zones 1 and 2, if needed. 8. Furnish and install new tubular aeration diffusers, new stainless steel aeration pipeline, pipeline supports, and appurtenances. 9. Furnish and install new motorized actuators and valves, mass flowmeters, and dissolved oxygen analyzers and probes, and appurtenances. 10. Modify, furnish and install, and terminate new conduits and wires and appurtenance for the new motorized actuators and valves, mass flowmeters, and dissolved oxygen analyzers and probes. 11. Furnish and install associated electrical, instrumentation, control system modifications, and integrate control and instrumentation. 12. Coordinate with District for the Plant 2 aeration basins shutdowns to modify existing 24" aeration header pipe and the coring of Zones Z2 & Z1 wall for the new aeration piping. 13. Coordinate with District to obtain and drain reclaimed water for diffusers commissioning and testing for each aeration zone. 14. Manage and control algae growth within the Plant 2 Aeration Basins during commissioning effort, without the use Estimated Bid Value : $6.5 - $7.5 Million *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
