Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Yorktown, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

Contractors shall be prequalified by VDOT in order to be considered for award from this solicitation. Funding for this project is provided with State funds. Phase I: Lakeside Drive (0620-099-R83, UPC 117124) Sidewalk Project The Work under this Project consists of: furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, permits, and fees to construct the sidewalk as shown on the Contract Drawings, including but not limited to: Construction of a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk approximately 1000 linear feet in length Installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps at all applicable intersections and crossing points. Crosswalk striping to connect the new sidewalk with the school's internal sidewalk system. Minor grading and site preparation along the corridor to accommodate the sidewalk. Utility adjustments and coordination as necessary to complete the sidewalk installation. All incidental work thereto as detailed in the Contract Documents Phase II: Yorktown Road (0706-099-R87, UPC 117127) Sidewalk Project The Work under this Project consists of: furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, permits, and fees to construct the sidewalk as shown on the Contract Drawings, including but not limited to: Construction of a new 5 foot wide concrete sidewalk, approximately 1525 linear feet in length; Construction of ADA curb ramps; Replacement of drainage culverts; All incidental work thereto as detailed in the Contract Documents Phase I: Substantial Completion, (120) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, Final Completion of the Work shall be no later than one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed for Phase II shall be issued once Substantial Completion has been obtained for Phase I. Phase II: Substantial Completion, (90) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, Final Completion of the Work shall be no later than one hundred and eighty (120) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors must be prequalified by VDOT to be considered for the award.
