Contractor shall provide a landfill disposal site for non-compacted refuse, green waste (excluding tree stumps) and construction waste (to include concrete asphalt and concrete) generated from various projects and programs along the State Highways and Right-of-Ways in the District 11 Santee Maintenance area in the County of San Diego. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Proposed Award Date (estimate) 10/21/2025 Question Deadline 10/02/2025 Bidders must submit their questions via e-mail to catherine.andersen@dot.ca.gov. This Agreement will commence on January 1, 2026 (estimate), or upon approval by the Department of General Services (DGS), whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DGS. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on December 31, 2028 (estimate).
