Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Country Club Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for Pulaski Road Sidewalk Improvements under REL Project #24-R0519. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer and in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder's name and the project name. Proposals will be read aloud at the specified location and time. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after bid opening without consent. Only prequalified bidders, determined by the Engineer, are permitted to obtain bidding forms. A certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the bid is required as a guarantee of contract execution. A performance bond equal to 100% of the bid amount must be furnished by the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, postpone the bid opening, or seek new proposals if deemed in its best interest. The contractor must not begin work until all necessary permits are secured. All labor must be paid at rates not less than the prevailing wage set by the U.S. Department of Labor and must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualifications are required for all bidders, and the Engineer may refuse to issue documents to any person, firm, or corporation considered unqualified.
