Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of all materials and the performance of all labor in accordance with the contract documents for the roof replacement at North Elementary School. The scope of work is to include general, architectural, and roofing construction under a unified bid package. Construction must comply fully with the bidding documents and all work should meet the requirements of the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents prepared by the architect. All bidders must include a list of subcontractors and major material suppliers, which cannot be changed without owner approval, and submit bid security, performance, labor, and payment bonds. Bidders are required to visit the project site and familiarize themselves with all conditions and to thoroughly examine all drawings and project manuals. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to evaluate bidders and their proposed subcontractors or suppliers for qualifications and ability to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents.
