Renovation of an educational facility in Poseyville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of all materials and the performance of all labor in accordance with the contract documents for the roof replacement at North Elementary School. The scope of work is to include general, architectural, and roofing construction under a unified bid package. Construction must comply fully with the bidding documents and all work should meet the requirements of the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents prepared by the architect. All bidders must include a list of subcontractors and major material suppliers, which cannot be changed without owner approval, and submit bid security, performance, labor, and payment bonds. Bidders are required to visit the project site and familiarize themselves with all conditions and to thoroughly examine all drawings and project manuals. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to evaluate bidders and their proposed subcontractors or suppliers for qualifications and ability to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents. All instructions, including location to obtain drawings and specifications, bid security requirements, deposit conditions for document sets, and submission procedures, must be followed. Question Deadline 10/15/2025 Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to Jennifer Kissel, AIA, Hafer, 21 SE Third Street, Suite 800, Evansville, IN 47708 or jkissel@haferdesign.com. No inquiry received within 5 days of the date fixed for opening of the Bids will be given consideration. Bid Security - A Bid Bond of 5% is required. Contractors shall include performance, labor, and payment bonds Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any and all informalities, whether or not the Bids comply with the prescribed requirements, alternates, and unit prices if requested in the Bid Forms. It may consider the qualifications and experience of Subcontractors and other persons and organizations (including those who are to furnish the principal items of material or equipment) proposed for those portions of the work for which the identity of Subcontractors and other persons and organizations must be submitted as specified in the "Information for Bidders". It may conduct such investigations as it deems necessary to establish the responsibility, qualifications and final ability of the bidders, proposed Subcontractors and other persons and organizations to do the work in accordance with the Contract Documents to Owner's satisfaction within the prescribed time. Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who does not pass any such evaluation to Owner's satisfaction. ** Doc info : Bidding Documents, which may be examined by prospective bidders at the following location: Hafer 21 SE Third Street, Suite 800 Evansville, Indiana 47708 Amount of the deposit for up to three sets of bidding documents may be refunded in full when the Plans and Specifications have been returned to MACO - Evansville Blue within ten (10) days after time set for receiving bids and in good re-usable condition. If the Plans and Specifications are returned after this ten (10) day period or in unusable condition, the deposit will be forfeited. One (1) set of bidding documents consists of one (1) Project Manual and one (1) Complete Set of Drawings
