CAW WESTROCK LANDING -Watershed Management Office &Parking Improvements The project, located at the site listed above, includes but is not limited to a new 9,650sf, single story main building organized into two components: a pre-engineered metal building for laboratory, workshop and storage functions, and a hybrid glulamand steel frame structure for administrative offices, classroom and conference space. A separatenew 1,100sf preengineered metal storage building is included on the site. Site development includes a car and boat trailer parking area, visitor and staff parking, concrete and gravel walks, site lighting and plantings. Civil work includes grading, new utilities and stormwater infrastructure. Refer to Construction Documents for complete scope. It is the sole responsibility of each subcontractor and each bidder to verify that their bid is based on a complete set of construction documents including all addenda. Each bid proposal shall include with it a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount of at least 5% of the total bid offered. There shall be only one (1) bid submitted per State Contractor's License. Each bid received shall have the license for that bidder. Bid shall be submitted on the form provided by the Owner and shall be delivered in a clearly identified, sealed, opaque envelope CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: All bidders shall conform to the requirement of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors and must be licensed onthe day of the bid submittal. All bidders shall have: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed general contractor. Minimum of (1) one completed project of similar size and scope (approx. 10,000 SF with site development). Documented experience with gabion basket installation. Documented experience with glulam construction. Ability to provide all required bonding, insurance, and licensing. Demonstrated capacity to meet project schedule and quality standards. The Commission reserves the right to waive formalities, reject any or all bids, and accept the bid deemed to serve the best interest of Central Arkansas Water.
