The project includes converting an existing test production well into a new Type I supply well by providing a pitless adapter, well pump, and all related components. The project also includes site watermain to connect the new well to the existing water treatment plant, interior process piping, and chemical feed system modifications, site electrical, and all related work. Davis Bacon Act prevailing wages, Minimum Wage Rates, and American Iron and Steel (AIS) apply to this contract. The City of Beaverton reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Beaverton Question Deadline 10/16/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered Items of work include: - The construction includes but is not limited to: site grading, one new pitless adapter, well pump, and related components. Watermain from proposed well to existing water treatment plant, interior process piping, chemical feed system, and all related work. - Electrical work includes but is not limited to, extension of existing electrical equipment to provide power supply and control for the proposed well pump and all related work. There are two other contracts included in this project that will be installing new watermain in several areas throughout the City and constructing a new water tower. Contractor shall coordinate with Contract 1 and 3, construction activities shall not impact the work of other contracts.
