The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor (to include a "climber" when necessary), equipment, fuel, traffic control (per the most recent version of the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual) and any other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements of the performance specifications stated within. The work shall consist of tree clearing (per the requirements in this Invitation For Bid) and removal and disposal generated debris. The Contractor shall not begin work until November, 15th 2025. Question Deadline 10/20/2025 Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be submitted in writing to nasir.chhipa@vdot.virginia.gov no later than 5 business days, prior to the closing date. All Trees shall be felled by sunset on March 31, 2026 The work shall consist of timber clearing, cutting of all woody vegetation greater than or equal to three (3) inches in diameter at breast height (DBH). All stumps shall be cut not to exceed twelve (12) inches in height above existing grade. VDOT reserves the right to add or subtract quantities of trees to be removed.
