Description: Anderson School District 5 is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to Remove Existing Concrete and Pour New at the TL Hanna Front Entrance. Anderson School District 5 is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to Remove Existing Concrete and Pour New at the TL Hanna Front Entrance. See specifications below for details. The District intends for this vendor to assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation. The successful contractor shall be properly licensed (Section 40-11-30) and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience. Award will be to one vendor. Location: TL Hanna Front Entrance 1. Approx ~ 160 ft x 40 ft (Contractor responsible for exact measurement). Install 6" thick of concrete at 3000 psi. 2. Approx ~ 90 ft x 60 ft (Contractor responsible for exact measurement). Install 4" thick of concrete at 3000 psi. 3. Remove damaged concrete (see page 4). 4. Contractor is responsible for disposing of all concrete removed. 5. Contractor to ensure base material is adequate for new install. 6. Safety fence to be installed by contractor when work begins and removed by contractor when work is complete. Exact locations of fence will be determined by the contractor, district & school. 7. Backfill around concrete as needed. 8. Any damage done to curb paint will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair. 9. Mandatory Site visit: see page 1 for details. 10.
