Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural Services The Lone Pine Unified School District is hereby requesting qualifications for architectural services for modernization and construction at multiple sites throughout the District. The District is planning to approve an architect through the competitive selection process. The successful architect and the District will determine projects based on District needs and current needs assesment. The voters have approved bonds totally $7.5 million dollars for these projects. Any questions regarding this RFQ shall be produced in writing and directed to William Brown at the Lone Pine Unified School District Office located at 301 South Hay Street., Lone Pine, CA 93545-0159. This District reserves the right to reject any and all Qualifications or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the process and to be the sole judge of the merit and qualifications offered, any may accept whatever Qualifications deemed to be in the best interest of the District. Interested architectural firms are invited to respond to the RFQ by addressing the questions and request for information. Selection Process - Special Instructions The District reserves the right to make the selection based on experience and knowledge of school facilities, the State School Facility Program and District standards. The District reserves the right to change the process and/or modify the selection procedures. All selection decisions by the District are final utilizing the following: * Evaluation Criteria: Respondents will be evaluated based on their responses to all questions and requirements in this RFQ. The District shall be the sole judge in the ranking process and reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications. False, incomplete, or unresponsive statements in connection with this proposal may be sufficient cause for its rejection. * Contract Negotiations: All proposals will be given equal consideration. However, contract negotiations will only be with representatives who are authorized to conduct such negotiations and to commit to terms on behalf of the company they represent. * Background Review: The District reserves the right to conduct a background inquiry of the selected Architectural firms which may include collections of appropriate criminal history information, contractual and business associations and practices, employment histories and reputation in the business community. By submitting a proposal, the Architectural Firm consents to such an inquiry and agrees to make available such books and records deemed necessary to conduct the inquiry.
