Please see the Invitation to Bid regarding how to obtain documents. This project includes replacing the existing Gravel Surfaced roofing system with new .060 TPO Roofing System. Work may be required to be done on weekends and some after hours. Warranty should meet a minimum requirement of 20 years (.060 TPO). A bid for a 30 year TPO product is also requested. This project is federally funded by the FTA; therefore, federal requirements such as DBE subcontracting, Davis-Bacon wages, and Buy America apply. All required forms marked 'Attach to Bid' must be submitted for a complete bid. The DBE goal is set at 8.3%. Bidders must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read and understand the contents of the Bidding Documents.
