The Township of Pleasanton is a rural community located in Northwestern Manistee County. The Township is traversed north/south by US 31. The Township of Pleasanton is currently requesting bids to provide the Township with solid waste services that include twice monthly garbage pick-up at our transfer station located at 6007 Norconk Road, Bear Lake, MI. This would entail one garbage truck being on location for two hours from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Township also provides our residents with two clean up days per year (usually in June and August) that would require one additional garbage truck on those days for the same hours 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. No dates are scheduled on holiday weekends. In addition, we require a two-yard dumpster at our Buell Park location from May 1st until September 30 each year to be emptied bi-weekly. A multi-year contract is preferred.
