Sealed bids are requested for As Needed Construction & Excavation Services in the Borough of Watchung, Somerset County, New Jersey. Bids must be on the official bid form, enclosed in sealed envelopes properly identified with the bidder's name and address, and reference to the specific work being bid. Bids should be addressed to the Borough Clerk. Award of the contract will be subject to the provision of necessary funds and securing of required permits. Bidders must comply with Affirmative Action requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27), the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.), and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. S12101, et seq.). A Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, as well as proof of business registration and Public Works Contractor Registration for both contractor and subcontractors, must be submitted with the bid. The Borough reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities as may be in its best interest, in accordance with applicable law.
