Salem Street Pedestrian Improvements and Related Work. The work under this Contract consists of performing pedestrian improvements on Salem Street within the Town of Reading, including but not limited to the construction of a pedestrian crossing on Salem Street at Memorial Park. The project includes the installation of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon and proposed pavement markings, along with the construction of cement concrete sidewalk and ADA-compliant pedestrian curb ramps, as well as any incidental work necessary to complete the work under this Contract, as required by the Town. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
